Shiretoko Five Lakes
Deep within the Shiretoko Peninsula, five enchanting lakes rest quietly, surrounded by untouched primeval forests.
Reflecting the surrounding forests and the majestic Shiretoko Mountain Range on their tranquil surfaces, the lakes embody a true paradise of untouched nature, rich in plant and wildlife.
The elevated boardwalk provides access to only one of the five lakes, while visiting the remaining four requires joining a guided tour or a similar program.
